AOD Peer Support Specialist

Te Hā Oranga is a Māori Health Provider that delivers a diverse range of Primary Health Care services across the rohe of Ngati Whatua. Our Organisation is committed to Kaupapa Māori Tikanga and Principals.
This role will involve working within our new exciting drug treatment programme providing facilitation and one on one support to wahine who are currently incarcerated in Auckland Womans Prison. We also have positions available to work one on one with wahine in remand.
Our Peer Support Specialist will provide group and individualised support and engagement for the wahine, drawing on lived experience that models hope for recovery and encouraging self-awareness and tools that work for whānau.
