200-year Commemoration of Te-Ika-ā-Ranganui.

Mai Maunganui ki Tāmaki hurinoa ōnā tōpito extends an invitation to you to join us in marking a momentous occasion – the 200-year Commemoration of Te-Ika-ā-Ranganui.

Two centuries have passed since the battle of Te-Ika-ā-Ranganui, an event of profound significance in our collective history. This commemoration is not only a time to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of our tūpuna, but also an opportunity to honour both those who stood at the forefront, and those whose roles were woven into the periphery of this defining moment.

Through this gathering, we seek to strengthen the bonds that will carry us forward into the next 200 years, ensuring that the lessons, relationships, and legacies of our past continue to guide and shape our future.
